I have become very lazy in the blogging department, sorry about that! I wish I could say we've been busy with all sorts of important and awesome adventures, but it's just been normal life for us around here. The boys are as funny, smart, frustrating, lovable, and handsome as ever and are really enjoying spring and all the time we spend outdoors.
Here are a bunch of pictures from the last month or so, in no particular order.

George continues to make us laugh and make us crazy all at the same time. He is such a funny kid and picks up on so much around him. The other morning, he slipped and fell in the dining room and started laughing and said, "Well, that was a slippery situation!" He loves to be outside more than anything, and digging for worms in our dirt pile has become a favorite hobby. He can now recognize all his numbers and we're starting to work on letters, although he can always spy a G, O, and Y (from the YMCA). One of his favorite parts of the week is Thursday mornings when he has "Gym & Swim" at the Y. For half the time, they have open play in the gym, then they head to the pool for open swim. He loves that he can touch the bottom and dunk his head. These classes have been great for him to be a part of a group without too much structure. We're planning on putting him in actual swim lessons this summer.
Last week, our friend Salvador turned four and had his party at Chuck E. Cheese's. It was the boys' first time there and they loved it! George did not want to leave and especially liked the basketball and baseball games, there.

The triplets also turned four last week, and Kelly and Joe threw a great party for them. Each kid got an apron, chef's hat, and the tools to make their own personal pizza! The kids were adorable and their pizzas turned out really good!
Some silly pictures of our quickly-growing baby. Everyday Gus is a bit more of a toddler than a baby; he wants so much to be a part of George's games, he tries very hard to communicate his wants/needs to us, and is an adventurous little explorer just like his big brother. But he still loves to cuddle with me, rest his head on my shoulder, and snuggle with his favorite "dog-dog" stuffed animal.
Last month, Gus and I finished up our nursing time together. While I was happy because it meant I could visit Laura in California for the weekend, I was sad to have that special time end. Unlike George, Gus was always an easy baby to nurse. He never once had any problems latching as a newborn, getting too distracted as a crawler, or even biting while he teethed (and yes, George did all of those things!!). I'm so happy that for 14.5 months, I had a special way of consoling him when he was upset or hurt, providing him with excellent nutrition, and that we had each other to unwind with at quiet times of the day and night.
