I have officially become the world's worst blogger. I have been so bad about taking pictures lately, so I just haven't had anything to blog about. I'll try to be better about it - it will be my summer's resolution. Anyway, we have started our summer with lots of fun outings with George. Last weekend we had a fun picnic in Platt Park with our neighborhood friends. We're trying to make it a regular Friday night activity, but Sean plays softball Friday nights so we'll have to split our time between the two. Here's George and his friend Luke having a blast throwing mulch and rocks instead of eating...

Watching a squirrel under the playground with daddy...

On Friday night, we went to Sean's first softball game of the season. I really wish I had brought my camera because at the end of the game, all the players' little kids run out on the field and run the bases with their dad. This was George's first year getting to do it and it just made me smile to watch him running with his dad and they were both so happy. I could tell it made Sean so proud to be out there with his boy :)
Today we went over to help Karla do some work on Gracie's new room, so the two birthday buddies got to play together for a while. The highlight was definitely the fountain in the hot tub, they were having so much fun!

Once George figured out how to splash, he started really having fun while poor Grace got it right in the face!

Then this afternoon we went to a baby shower for our friends Alex and Lorena who just had their triplets on Thursday morning! They had two girls and a boy: Freddy, Paloma, and Layla. The hosts of this shower were brilliant and put a bunch of digging toys in their garden.

Trying out the bouncing castle...

Get me out of here!

After he played some more in the dirt with new big brother to three Salvador...

He tried the castle again and realized it was actually his dream come true. He loved it in there!!

Tomorrow we're heading to the swimming pool for the first time this summer and I can't wait since it's already getting hot in Denver. Thank goodness for our basement, it feels so good down here on a hot day!
