George liked reeling in the line with help from Sean...
Until he decided he wanted to do it all himself (very typical George right now) and got upset when Sean would cast the line for him.
So he got the pole all to himself and smacked it into the water for a while. Not surpisingly, no fish were caught :)
After we played on the playground, we went to the small creek to throw in some sticks. Throwing in sticks led to Sean putting his feet in, which led to George dipping his feet in, which led to standing in the shallows, which led to a soaking wet boy who had a blast wading with his dad looking for crawdads.
He rode home in the bike trailer wearing only a diaper and a smile.

George's style of fishing by slapping the water looks like what he did the day Gaky, Ray and Pat took Luke and George fishing a couple weeks ago! George wanted to cast his line like Luke learned to do but all he had was a pole with a line and rubber bait on it----no reel! He was so cute-----Sorry we got him off on the wrong foot Shawn & Anne!!
