It has finally gotten really hot here in Denver the past week or so, and George and I decided to hang out with Sean in the basement since it's about 10 degrees cooler down there. Here are a few pictures of our basement project.
As you can see, there has been a lot of progress down there! Sean has been working so hard (not to mention all the help from my dad) and it's really coming together. We've gotten the structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-in inspections signed off and the big things left now are insulation and dry wall. 
The drywall is going to have to wait a bit since we'll have somebody do that work (we'll need to save up a bit more money) but in the meantime there are lots of smaller projects Sean will be working on like building the cabinet for the stereo, building a bookcase and toy cabinet, putting the treads on the stairs, building the windowsills, etc. 
It will be such a great space down there when it's all finished!

cool shirt sean! george doesn't seem to mind the cage.
I can't believe all that work Sean and your dad have done! It will be so nice when it is done. Although G seems to like to like it just fine how it is!
