Yesterday we went up to Longmont for their firetruck parade with the Fererro/Nichols family. It was a fun adventure for George because after the parade, the trucks all went to a park in town and the kids could climb on them and explore. Here are some pictures of George enjoying the day!

After the parade, we headed home so I could go to work at Park Hill Golf Course. I've worked a couple shifts there in the past month in the banquet room for a little extra money (emphasis on the little). Well, about an hour after I got to work, Sean called and told me that George had hit his head on our new Ikea bookshelf and needed stitches. So Sean packed up both boys and took them to the after-hours Kaiser clinic where Geroge got three staples in the back of his head. My parents were able to meet him there and take Gus off his hands, but I'm still so impressed with the fact that Sean got both boys safely to the clinic while one was a screaming toddler with a bleeding head wound!! He'll get the staples out in a week or so and he was feeling fine today, it's just another adventure for the O'Reillys!
