Christmas 2012

We have had an action-packed few days around here as we celebrated Christmas with our families.  Now that the boys are FINALLY asleep, we can sit down, relax, and reflect on how much fun we've had and what wonderful families we have.  Sean's parents have been in town for Christmas this year, and got to spend a few nights with us at our house.  Unfortunately, George and Gus were both feeling pretty crappy on Friday and Saturday, but managed to pull it together for the last couple days. 

 

We started our holiday weekend with a train ride on the Georgetown Loop.  Our ride was a Christmas Light Show, so the train took us up the mountain to look at a light show at the top, then we came back down the mountain again.  The kids all had fun, I wish George felt better but he hung in there pretty well for feeling so sick. 

 

On Sunday, the Crists and O'Reillys headed to Build-a-Bear Workshop to each make a bear of their own as their gift from Nana and Pa.  Each kid picked a different animal with different accesories and they all had a blast!  It was such a great idea for a Christmas gift. 

For Christmas Eve, we got dressed up for church and for Kelly's for our traditional Wagilia meal.  It was pretty much impossible to get a good picture of both boys, this is the best one and it's not even very good:

George, the triplets, and their cousin Willa all got to eat at the "big kids" table this year.  They were all engaged in conversation and it was so cute to see them have fun with each other.

The elves brought all the kids matching pjs... Ryan and George had SO much fun together!  They are so alike and are learning to play together so nicely now!

On Christmas morning, the kids were up at 5:30 and were over the top thrilled with their haul.  They should be... they were spoiled rotten!

What a wonderful Christmas this has been!  The boys were both so excited all month and loved everything about the holiday season.  We are so thankful to have each other and our families to make this holiday so special!
